Bay of Islands Eco Stay & Walk

The natural beauty of the Bay of Islands is world renowned, and this package incorporates two fantastic experiences that will allow you to engage in this Eco wonderland. With experienced guides from Adventure Puketi, you will enter into the night world of the mighty Kauri Tree in the pristine Puketi Forest; experience the forest on a Full day excursion, encountering the spectacle sub tropical rain forest. Couple these with a welcoming luxury Bed and Breakfast near the heart of the Puketi forest, and this Bay of Islands package will be the highlight of your New Zealand visit.

Your Package will include:

• Sleep: 2 nights’ accommodation at Puketi Heights Bed& Breakfast with fresh seasonal produce sourced from our local farmers market.
• Walk: An experienced guide will take you on a mystical night walk in the Puketi rain forest to see the nocturnal wildlife. This tour leaves nightly at 7.30-8pm in the summer season which is October through end of April. A guide will take you on a Full day tour starting at 9.30a.m. Duration 5-6 hours, full refreshments of morning and afternoon tea, bottled water and a packed lunch or (down grade) to a Half day walk with refreshments, this tour leaves twice daily at 9.30. a.m. or 1.30.p.m. Priced at $ 95 pp.

As another option for a half day tour.

• Kayak: a half day calm water kayak up the Waitangi River, through the Mangrove forest to the spectacular Haruru Falls, in Paihia. Includes refreshments. Price p.p.  $75
