Your Knowledgeable Guide

Your forest walk guide, Ian Candy, has forty years living besides and tramping within New Zealand’s Puketi forest. Ian grew up in the area and feels totally at home on every trail.

Ian shares his love of the forest with Bay of Islands holiday makers conveying a strong sense of conservation. The Candy’s have operated a 140 hectare dairy/beef farm situated next to the Puketi Forest, 20 minutes from Kerikeri and 30 minutes from Paihia, Bay of Islands.
